Stretching

Stretching like a cat that I know I have been, To an unknown future beyond what is safe, secure, unchanging. Stretching like the tree I know I am becoming, encouraging my branches to be like bridges for my future self. Searching for my expansive sky, flexing my butterfly wings to include my life’s dreams, visions. Stretching the limits of imagination and time itself, doors fly open walls dissolve a rainbow encircles the moon, ideals are reborn. My compassionate heart reawakens, I remember to care for my tender wings, and lend a caring hand to our mother earth. As my roots go deep into the center of the earth and become whole. Traveling the many roads of life, I find my path and discover there are many doors, keys, roads, to travel on my journey. I know I am the heroine on my path, respecting my fate, creating my destiny in this very moment. © Marcia Moonstar 2010
